Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Manager to join our team at Hampshire County Council. As an Information Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of information across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Public Access, Information Governance, and Audit teams to ensure compliance with legislation and national standards for information management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the secure and efficient management of information.
- Collaborate with the Head of Information Management and Data Protection Officer to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on information management best practices and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with information management policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Educated to QCF Level 6 or relevant professional work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
- Professional knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR 2018, Human Rights Acts 1998, and privacy legislation.
- Demonstrate ability to present reports recommending improvements in processes and data recording to comply with national and local requirements to senior staff reducing the business risk.
- Experience of training delivery and presentations.
