Job Summary

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our food production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the production team to adhere to and improve Health and Safety procedures, challenging where necessary.
  • Work to agreed operating standards in the preparation of products, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices are achieved and maintained.
  • Coordinate and supervise supporting operatives, maintaining accurate process paperwork and monitoring and recording performance.
  • Investigate and resolve issues arising, using judgment and initiative to maintain quality.
  • Provide ad hoc operational cover as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, with ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Basic food hygiene training and awareness of CCP's for the production line.
  • High level of numeracy and literacy, with accuracy in paperwork and calculations.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
