Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the food manufacturing sector
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and supervise supporting operatives
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic food hygiene training and awareness of CCPs
- High level of numeracy and literacy, with accuracy in paperwork and calculations
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to adhere to and improve Health & Safety procedures
- Prepare products to agreed operating standards
- Coordinate and supervise supporting operatives to ensure high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain accurate process paperwork and monitor performance, reporting issues to engineers/Team Leaders
- Carry out first-line investigations into issues arising and use judgment and initiative to maintain quality
- Provide ad hoc operational cover as required
