In this role, you will be part of the support team, primarily handling second-line support tasks for both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include managing support tickets and resolving issues as they arise, with guidance from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line support for logistics systems.
  • Acquire knowledge of the company’s business and technical applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system modifications.
  • Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts.
  • Integrate various internal and external systems.
  • Generate reports for stakeholders and document system changes in line with company standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • IT graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree.
  • Familiarity with databases (Oracle or SQL).
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux and some experience with Shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems, with some background in systems analysis and application support.
  • Experience with report writing tools such as iReports or Jaspersoft Studio.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Full UK Driver's license is essential for occasional site visits.
