**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Support Analyst to join our team at Sanderson Recruitment Plc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to internal end users for critical software applications across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support applications throughout their life cycle, ensuring the highest standards of service to the business and their customers.
  • Assist with the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of new and existing applications.
  • Troubleshoot (remotely) and analyze issues with software applications.
  • Liaise with the wider team as well as 3rd parties/suppliers for incident management.
  • Communicate to customers around the status of incidents and escalating tickets where necessary.
  • Contribute towards the creation, review, and update of support documentation.
  • Effectively manage vendors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 1 year's minimum experience providing technical support on business-critical applications in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to select the appropriate communication method for the task.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management methodologies, particularly Incident Management & Problem Management.
  • Experience of Remote Assistance/Support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
  • Clear, logical thinking and ability to challenge the status-quo and think laterally.
  • Liaising with 3rd parties/suppliers for incident management.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
