Job Title: Head of HR, Full or Part Time

R & D Education Ltd is a group of locally owned Early Childhood Education centres, with sites across Canterbury. We're in a growth phase, and now require specialist HR support to assist us with all matters relating to our staff. Our payroll is currently sitting at 110 employees, working in a mix of full-time, part-time and casual positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all staff attraction and recruitment processes.
  • Oversee employee performance reviews and development.
  • Draft and implement new policies, update existing ones, and conduct annual reviews.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory processes through policy and practice auditing.
  • Drive the Management Development Pathway Program to advance staff careers within our centres.
  • Develop and issue IEAs, PDs, and Contract Variations for all staff.
  • Collaborate with Directors to design and implement best-in-class HR systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience.
  • Tertiary level HR qualifications.
  • Successful applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
