Konnect Recruit Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: To plan and coordinate complex daily and weekly activities in excess of 4 weeks in advance, including resources and labour in line with project information and the construction programme.
- Team Management: To manage your team in line with HR policies and the Company values, ensuring that team members, including subcontractors, conduct themselves appropriately at all times.
- Site Management: To maintain an awareness of the financial status of the project throughout its duration to minimise financial risk and maximise profit gains.
- Procurement: To be responsible for project-wide procurement across delegated sections of the project.
- Communication: To organise informal day-to-day meetings with Assistants, Section, Finishing and/or Sub-contractor Managers and proactively contribute to more formal weekly and monthly planning and progress meetings.
Requirements:
- Black CSCS Card: A valid Black CSCS Card is essential for this role.
- SMSTS: SMSTS certification is also required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
