Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at JRL Group Ltd. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Site Engineers, overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant, and carrying out quality inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of Site Engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant to meet project requirements.
- Carry out and record quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Use digital platforms to manage projects, including Fieldview, Viewpoint, and Topcon.
- Draw and interrogate drawings, and respond to RFIs.
- Provide support to the Project Manager and wider construction teams.
- Coordinate temporary works designs and issue permits.
- Find solutions to technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering or Construction related degree qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- Experience working on sub and superstructures packages, particularly concrete and RC frame structures.
- Aspirations to progress into a Project Management role.
