Job Title: Senior Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at JRL Group Ltd. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Site Engineers, overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant, and carrying out quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of Site Engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant to meet project requirements.
  • Carry out and record quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Use digital platforms to manage projects, including Fieldview, Viewpoint, and Topcon.
  • Draw and interrogate drawings, and respond to RFIs.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager and wider construction teams.
  • Coordinate temporary works designs and issue permits.
  • Find solutions to technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction related degree qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
  • Experience working on sub and superstructures packages, particularly concrete and RC frame structures and basements.
  • Aspirations to progress into a Project Management role.
