About the Role
SPTS Technologies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Instructor L4 to join our team. As a Technical Instructor L4, you will be responsible for delivering training to SPTS customer service engineers on the installation and repair of SPTS transport systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs for SPTS customer service engineers on SPTS transport systems
- Develop and maintain training materials, including courseware, instructor guides, and student guides
- Collaborate with the multimedia team to develop online training courses and AR/VR applications
- Provide training to SPTS customers at our training facility or at their site
- Work closely with the SPTS engineering teams to develop training for new products
- Identify gaps and areas of improvement in existing training techniques and develop new Best Known Methods (BKMs)
- Audit and mentor junior and guest instructors to improve overall instructional delivery skills and curriculum standards
- Maintain existing curriculum by implementing Tech talks
- Understand and apply various Learning Knowledge Service (LKS) guidelines and BKMs used to develop courseware
- Recognize product Cost of Service (CoS) issues and work with Technical Support to find opportunities for driving additional curriculum improvements
- Be the project leader for developing New Product Introduction (NPI) curriculum, define requirements, establish delivery timelines, and provide monthly updates to partners
- Review and redline existing documents for content accuracy, edit existing documents that have been redlined, format and write new documents
- Perform regular training tool Preventative Maintenance (PMs) as per existing BKMs
- Identify any tool health issues, propose Plan of Action (PoA), and work closely with Technical Support to recover tool using daily pass downs and Service Alert Meetings (SAMs) as needed
- Work with the Technical Support team for standardization of solutions, ensure knowledge is captured appropriately
- Provide first-level support to field as Technical Support equivalent
- Work with Technical Support team to support field L2 issues by attending daily SAMs and providing on-site support for L3 issues
Requirements
- Educated to degree level (BA/BSc)
- Experience of semi-conductor vacuum equipment
- Proficient in Instructional Techniques and Design
