About the Role
We are pleased to announce a vacancy for a Senior Personal Advisor within the Care Leavers Team. This role is essential in fostering long-term relationships with young individuals transitioning from care to independence. Our team is dedicated to supporting looked-after children and care leavers up to the age of 25, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance needed during this critical phase of their lives.
In Leicestershire, we emphasize relationship-based practices and strive for excellence. As a Senior Personal Advisor, you will have the opportunity to create impactful connections and facilitate meaningful change for our care leavers.

About You
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Relevant experience, either paid or voluntary, in working with care leavers within a social care environment or a similar context.
- Experience in delivering targeted support for young individuals with complex needs.
- The ability to manage and prioritize a demanding caseload effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside various professionals to ensure favorable outcomes for young people.
- Analytical skills to assess information and make informed decisions, often under pressure, while taking responsibility for outcomes and regular reporting.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines concerning care leavers, ensuring their voices are heard and their life chances improved.
