We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Care Team Member. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care team members are working together to provide exceptional care.
  • Case Management: Manage resident cases, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and record medication as required, ensuring that our residents receive the correct medication at the right time.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Support and Development: Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring that they remain as active and independent as possible.
  • Service Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and improve our services, ensuring that we are providing the best possible care for our residents.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven ability to lead and supervise others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of care planning processes.
  • Personal Qualities: A natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling, a strong desire to help people, and a commitment to putting residents at the heart of everything you do.
