Care Team Lead

At Bupa, we're committed to delivering person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in leading a team of Care Assistants and inspiring them to deliver high-quality, personal care to our residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring seamless care delivery and effective team management.
- Issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for shift handovers and training new staff members.
- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Assisting residents with personal care duties and promoting their independence.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- A completed or working towards NVQ3 in care, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to making a real difference in people's lives.
- Previous experience in the role, with a deep understanding of its rewards and challenges.
