Role Overview
New Forest Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children in a residential setting.
About the Role
This Senior Support Worker position involves leading a team of Support Workers, providing day-to-day support, guidance, and accountability for their performance. The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience in a residential childcare setting, a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, support, and accountability for their performance
- Complete daily staffing allocations, promote the ethos and values of New Forest Care Ltd, and carry out the duties of a Support Worker to an exemplary standard
- Provide day-to-day support to children with challenging behaviors, emotional and behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and autism
- Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
- Develop and implement therapeutic approaches based on DDP and PACE

Requirements
- At least two years' experience in a residential childcare setting
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Flexible and able to work a residential care rota including evening, weekends, and holiday periods
