We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Childcare Worker in Southampton. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to young people with additional needs and/or behaviours.

About the Team

Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to young people, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for working with children and young people. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and secure environment that enables young people to grow and develop healthily.

You will work closely with the team to implement and maintain clear boundaries, provide emotional support, and facilitate positive relationships with the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with additional needs and/or behaviours.
  • Create a safe and secure environment that promotes healthy growth and development.
  • Implement and maintain clear boundaries and provide emotional support to the young people in our care.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £26,364.00 - £27,783.60 per annum (pro-rata) (£13 - £13.70 per hour).
  • A generous sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night.
