About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team at Office Angels. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for a diverse client base, utilizing payroll systems for weekly and monthly processing.
  • Ensure accuracy in RTI submissions and effectively handle pension administration duties.
  • Perform manual calculations, adeptly managing holiday pay, SSP & SMP, and other statutory payments.
  • Conduct thorough bookkeeping across multiple platforms, including Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Maintain meticulous financial records.
  • Provide professional and efficient responses to client queries.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with previous experience in a similar Payroll position. You should have experience working with pensions and weekly/monthly wages, as well as IT skills in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
