Thamesfield Retirement Village, a part of the Retirement Villages Group, is seeking a Weekend Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet visitors, guests, and residents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure all guests and visitors sign-in as appropriate.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forward and take messages as necessary.
- Sort and distribute post daily, managing and processing mail for Village Management and residents.
- Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Handle appointments for residents and family members, including restaurant bookings, hairdresser appointments, and taxi arrangements.
- Co-ordinate the weekly online shopping service for residents, collecting shopping lists and arranging internal deliveries.
- Maintain the resident Purchase Log and process payments using the electronic POS system.
- Support in keeping all resident files up to date.
- Triage requests from residents, suppliers, and staff.
- Support in Resident Move in and Out procedures.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
- Previous administration experience, with strong numerical skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Good team player with a positive attitude.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Highly organized with strong Excel knowledge.
