Job Description

Gordon Murray Group is a leading luxury automotive brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing exceptional driving cars. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations and Planning Manager to join our Sales and Customer Care Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Process Management: Own and enhance operational processes within the department, including vehicle delivery timelines, vehicle handovers, registrations, contracts, and new car launches.
  • Interdepartmental Alignment: Align closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Aftersales, and Finance to ensure production schedules are translated into a clear and seamless delivery plan for owners.
  • Market Insights and Strategic Planning: Plan the launch of future vehicles, aligned to market insights and the company's strategic targets to ensure the vehicle is well received by our GMA Family and the wider automotive world.
  • Pricing Management and Benchmarking: Manage and operate pricing strategies to ensure programme targets are met, while implementing ongoing tracking to ensure commercial performance is maintained.
  • Sales Partner Management: Manage and operate our GMA Sales partners Globally, ensuring they continue to deliver on our Brand DNA and support their local clients to the standards as delivered from the factory.
  • New Market Opportunities: Investigate and review new opportunities for Sales Partners in new and existing markets to widen the GMA family and strengthen the business' commercial position.
  • Customer Support: Assist with customer visits, specification sessions, and handovers where necessary, alongside the customer liaison team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience within the luxury automotive industry, preferably in a Sales Planning or Operational role with an existing knowledge of automotive terminology and sales processes.
  • Skills: Exceptional eye for detail, ability to clearly document process flows, and proficiency in using a variety of IT packages (e.g. Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Smartsheets, PowerBI).
  • Customer Facing: Customer facing and interpersonal skills to support a best-in-class customer journey.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks, manage conflicting priorities, against tight deadlines, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
