Sales Operations and Planning Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Sales Operations and Planning Manager to join our Sales and Customer Care Team, reporting directly to the Sales Director. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sales department operates smoothly while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and achieving commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and manage operational workflows within the sales department, including vehicle delivery schedules, handovers, registrations, contracts, and new vehicle launches.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Aftersales, and Finance teams to translate production schedules into effective delivery plans for our clients.
  • Oversee the launch of upcoming vehicles, aligning with market insights and the company's strategic goals to ensure successful reception by our clientele.
  • Manage pricing strategies and conduct benchmarking for vehicle options to meet program targets while ensuring ongoing performance tracking.
  • Supervise our global network of GMA Sales partners, ensuring adherence to our brand standards and providing support to local clients.
  • Explore and assess new opportunities for Sales Partners in both existing and new markets to expand the GMA family and enhance our commercial position.
  • Assist with customer interactions, including visits, specification discussions, and vehicle handovers as needed.
  • Be flexible with working hours to ensure exceptional customer service is maintained.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in the luxury automotive sector, particularly in Sales Planning or Operations, with a solid understanding of automotive terminology and sales processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to document process flows clearly.
  • Proficient in various IT applications (e.g., Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Smartsheets, PowerBI) at an advanced level.
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills to facilitate a superior customer journey.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a keen focus on detail.
