Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Monitor and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, and manage international shipments of hazardous goods.
  • Facilities Management: Perform routine safety inspections, maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to warehouse operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer expectations and ensure seamless execution of projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
