About the Role

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team in a unique supported living service in the beautiful Dorset countryside. The people we support have learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health support needs.

They have a beautiful home with communal gardens, where they enjoy spending time during the summer months. They enjoy watching the wildflowers bloom and planting their vegetable patches. There is a great community spirit, with regular events such as lunches, games of rounders, football tournaments, and BBQs.

The people we support enjoy a range of activities in the community and like to be out and about, no matter what the weather. They are looking for team members who can encourage them to be as independent as possible and make their own choices.

As a Support Worker, you will be a good listener and be able to remain calm in difficult situations. You will be able to problem-solve and reassure the people we support, while also communicating in a positive and honest way.
