About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs
- Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
- Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Supporting individuals to access community resources and services
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. HCPC, NMC)
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
