Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our client's team in the West Midlands. The role is an exciting opportunity within their Oil and Gas Sales Department, reporting to the Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products across their Oil & Gas North Sea division. This will involve managing a portfolio of accounts, handling enquiries and calls from new customers, and visiting key customers with the external sales team if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to hit and exceed specified targets.
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned customers via telephone and email.
  • Input sales orders and subcontract work onto the computer system in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer information using Salesforce.
  • Follow training received when using work items.
  • Report any serious health and safety risks.

Requirements:

Education: School GCSEs and/or apprenticeship.

Experience: Sales experience in Oil and Gas, particularly with Special Steels and Nickel-based alloys. Key account management with technical sales experience, particularly with releases and specifications. Previous SAP and Salesforce experience.
