About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Clancy. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand tender documents to ensure accurate resource requirements and outputs.
  • Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating smooth communications and information transfers.
  • Ensure prices related to goods and services are fully understood and accurate, reviewing pricing schedules to understand aspects like bill of quantities, fee tables, and costs of resources for all activities.
  • Produce and communicate the requirements of tender documents, including pricing clarifications and procurement schedules.
  • Attend site visits with the assigned bid team and supply chain to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Provide feedback and negotiations with supply chain partners to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Assure compliance to engineering standards and provide evidence and assurance to clients on conformity.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of NEC Contract processes.
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on commercial and operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and understand complex tender documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
