Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and expansion within the grocery retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key grocery retail customers, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Lidl, and M&S.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to expand product ranges and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans and strategies.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the grocery retail market, including trends, competitors, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food industry.
  • Strong relationships with key grocery retail customers, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Lidl, and M&S.
  • Excellent business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade retail buyers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
