The Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise sales of our water quality analysers across the UK.
  • Target and secure new customers and business opportunities.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and negotiate contracts.
  • Write tenders and proposals, network at conferences and industry forums, and provide effective handovers to the Project Delivery Team.
  • Develop and mentor junior staff members.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of proposals and tenders.
  • Provide feedback to the Product Development Team on customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales role.
  • Experience in business development and securing new business.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to travel extensively across the UK.
  • A valid driving licence.
