About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapy Support Specialist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will provide exceptional support to our qualified physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximize their clinical skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, including managing appointment schedules, patient records, and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatments under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Book outpatient physiotherapy appointments and manage the physiotherapy appointment system accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately.
  • Ensure the department maintains CHG Physiotherapy audit compliance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to reassure patients in varying situations and encourage them to undertake their exercise programs.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate recording of data.
  • Able to assess patient comfort and adapt behavior in line with this assessment.
