About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapy Support Specialist to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our physiotherapy team, you will provide exceptional support to our qualified physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximize their clinical skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, including managing appointment systems and patient records.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatment under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Book outpatient physiotherapy appointments and ensure accurate and efficient management of the appointment system.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database and ensure that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately.
  • Ensure the department maintains CHG Physiotherapy audit compliance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Able to reassure patients in varying situations and encourage them to undertake their exercise programmes.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence. Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate recording of data.
  • Able to assess patient's comfort, and adapt behaviour in line with this assessment.
  • Inpatient ward clinical experience advantageous.
  • Orthopaedic experience advantageous.
