We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Physiotherapy team as a Physiotherapy Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing excellent support services to our qualified physiotherapy staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, ensuring accurate and efficient management of patient records and appointment systems.
- Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatments under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist.
- Manage the patient database, ensuring that all relevant documentation is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist.
- Contribute to the maintenance of CHG Physiotherapy audit compliance.
- Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to reassure patients in varying situations and encourage them to undertake their exercise programmes.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
