About the Role

Anthony Collins Solicitors is seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join their Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team in their work, which includes representing claimants in personal injury, clinical negligence, abuse, and claims against public authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the investigation and progression of client claims for compensation arising from various liability scenarios.
  • Attend meetings with clients, conferences, and court hearings, taking comprehensive notes.
  • Undertake routine drafting and analysis of documentary evidence.
  • Assist in and undertake legal research.
  • Deal with routine correspondence and telephone calls.
  • Maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients, colleagues, and others.
  • Accurately record all time spent in accordance with the firm's time recording system.
  • Carry out administrative duties as required on files maintained and supervised by fee earners.
  • Maintain and collate relevant resources and publications.
  • Assist in the production of newsletters, marketing materials, and other documents for clients.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding by attending relevant in-house training sessions.
  • Attend and assist in the preparation for business development events.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hardworking, organized, and excellent communicator with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in personal injury and/or clinical negligence claims is essential, with experience in claims against public authorities being desirable but not required.
