About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Physiotherapy team as a Physiotherapy Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing excellent support services to our qualified physiotherapy staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, ensuring accurate and efficient management of patient records and appointment systems.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatments under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the department maintains compliance with CHG Physiotherapy audit requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, responding to general telephone enquiries and referring clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in a physiotherapy setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to reassure patients in varying situations and encourage them to undertake their exercise programs.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence, with proficiency in the use of a PC and software systems.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
