Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista and Front of House Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coffee and Beverage Preparation
    • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks with precision and care.
    • Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment.
    • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and work with the General Manager to develop the menu accordingly.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service.
    • Take customer orders and handle transactions at the point of sale.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Plate up ready-to-go food and serve, clearing tables promptly to maintain a well-presented front of house.
  • Front of House Duties
    • Assist with setting up and maintaining a clean and inviting front-of-house area.
    • Ensure all displays are well-stocked and presented attractively.
    • Assist in monitoring the studio bookings calendar to stay aware of incoming clients and guests.
    • Work closely with the Studio team members to ensure smooth service.
    • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking as needed.
    • Monitor the studio calendar and check in clients/guests.
  • Health and Safety Compliance
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staff.
    Requirements
    • Minimum 1 year experience as a Barista or in a similar front-of-house role.
    • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • A passion for food and coffee, and for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • A Food and Hygiene Level 2 certificate would be beneficial, though training and qualifications will be provided for the right candidate.
