About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Senior Pharmacy Support Worker to join our dynamic Pharmacy Homecare Team. As a key member of the senior supervisory team, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting the team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supporting Pharmacy Support Workers
  • Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Organizing workflow and conducting electronic audits
  • Managing homecare provider statements and resolving queries
  • Leading and developing the Pharmacy Homecare Team

Requirements

  • Numerate and literate, with GCSE in Maths and English Grade 5-9 or equivalent
  • HNC (or equivalent experience) in a science-based subject or 2 A level passes in a science subject or BTEC level 3 in a science subject or equivalent knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical procedures gained through work experience and training
  • Significant experience of pharmacy and supervisory experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
