**Electrical Design Engineer Wanted for Leading Manufacturer**

Recruit4staff Ltd is proud to be representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Telford.

For the successful Electrical Design Engineer, our client is offering:

The role of the Electrical Design Engineer will involve:

  • **Design and Manufacturing**: Of electrical equipment and control systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • **Technical Documentation**: Generating product technical files, including Bills of Materials and Instructions, to support the design and manufacturing process
  • **Autodesk Skills**: Proficiency in generating diagrams using Autodesk, a leading design software
  • **Customer Support**: Providing technical support to customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • **Site Meetings**: Attending site meetings to discuss design and manufacturing requirements with customers and stakeholders
  • **Reporting and Documentation**: Preparing product documents and writing reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • **Modification and Research**: Modifying drawings and researching suitable solutions to meet customer needs, estimating costs and timescales
  • **Quality Assurance**: Ensuring that all work generated meets company standards and quality expectations

**Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer Role**

  • **Engineering Aptitude**: A strong understanding of engineering principles and a willingness to learn and develop skills
  • **Education**: A HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • **Design Skills**: Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, including Autodesk
  • **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders
