Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and engineering of low voltage power systems, including industrial drive systems, power conversion, and power generation applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical concept designs and definitions for low voltage power systems
  • Conduct detailed design studies and calculations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client specifications
  • Coordinate with the Hardware Design team to review and approve detailed designs
  • Maintain the Technical Construction File and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and mentoring of less-experienced engineers

Requirements:

  • BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of electrical control systems, low voltage power supply and distribution, power conversion, and power generation concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and proactive with an organized approach to work
