Job Description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and engineering of low voltage power systems, including industrial drive systems, power conversion, and power generation applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical concept designs and definitions for low voltage power systems
  • Define requirements and functional specifications for bought-out systems and components, including motors, drives, switchboards, transformers, energy storage, and cabling
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Meet project milestones and deliver high-quality results

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Excellent understanding of electrical control systems, low voltage power supply and distribution, power conversion, and power generation concepts
