About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Prototype and Workshop Planning Engineer to join our team at Apex Resource Management. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of Research & Development (R&D) vehicle build projects, focusing on prototype and workshop activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Delivery: Define, plan, and steer vehicle development projects, creating and managing project delivery plans.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, allocating resources and securing commitments.
  • Project Progress and Budget Management: Track project progress and manage budgets effectively, leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Provide clear communication to senior stakeholders, including Heads of Departments and Directors.
  • Quality and Cost Management: Deliver vehicle builds on time, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.
About You

You will thrive in this role if you have a strong background in engineering or project planning, coupled with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will demonstrate knowledge of project management principles, experience with vehicle development projects, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
