Role Overview

Undisclosed is seeking an experienced Engineering Tutor to join our team in Crewe, Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching and mentoring to apprentices in the Engineering Technician standard - Mechatronics pathway and Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) - Electrical and mechanical pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • To support apprentices in developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours required within the apprenticeship through coaching and mentoring sessions.
  • To teach in both classroom and workshop environments, complete guidance, and mock end-point assessments to ensure that apprenticeships are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship.
  • To deliver Maths and English (and ICT where applicable) to support the learner's achievement and progress in these areas.

Requirements
  • Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive teaching in the workshop to meet learners' needs.
  • Teaching qualification Cert Ed/CTTLS/DTTLS/EAT/PGCE or equivalent.
