Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist Team Lead to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service, you will be responsible for providing clinical guidance, training, and leadership to a team of Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality psycho-social interventions with individuals on a MHTR.
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to mental health treatment, working closely with the Clinical Lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
  • Collaborate with operational colleagues to ensure the systematic governance of the Leicestershire MHTR service.
  • Offer practical advice on evidence-based psychological interventions to colleagues and local agencies.
  • Develop and coordinate team members to enhance their psychological formulation skills and trauma-informed approach.
  • Manage a small caseload of service users with complex needs, providing specialist psychological assessments and therapies.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service, building strong professional links with other statutory and voluntary service providers.
  • Explore ways to continuously improve services and integrate wider issues, such as housing, employment, and finances, into the overall treatment process.
