Client Support Specialist

Location: Edinburgh, EH1

Salary: £21,500-£23,000 per annum depending on experience

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week - between Monday to Friday hours between 8am and 6pm


Position Overview:

As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to comprehend the needs and expectations of our clients, ensuring that their inquiries are addressed in a knowledgeable, efficient, and professional manner.

You will be part of a regulated financial services organization, assisting clients with inquiries related to their savings and pension accounts, both personal and corporate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service across various communication channels.
  • Engage with clients clearly and respond effectively to their requests.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency to meet quality standards and achieve SLAs/KPIs.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and service quality.
  • Adhere to legal requirements and comply with corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Manage your workload to meet both personal and team objectives.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance process efficiency and client satisfaction.

Work Environment:

Edinburgh

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, no weekend shifts, between 8am - 6pm

  • Shifts will vary between 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, and 10am-6pm, with all candidates required to be flexible to work all shifts on a rotational basis.
  • Full time, 35 hours per week.

Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in a client service role, preferably in an office or call-based environment; other customer service backgrounds will also be considered.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • A genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service and fostering relationships with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in handling challenging or complex client interactions.
  • Minimum qualifications of N5/GCSE in Maths and English.
  • A positive, client-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
