About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Support Worker to join our team at Hireful Agency. As an Intensive Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are homeless and in need of assistance to regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive support to individuals in a supported living environment, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality support services, ensuring that each individual receives the care and attention they need.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each individual.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the agency's values and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably in a homeless charity or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and data protection.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
