As part of IPG's continued expansion into the UK and Europe, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about safety, health, and environmental management and is looking to take their career to the next level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and driving SHE compliance and a World Class SHE culture in partnership with Site Leadership. They will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring the site's SHE policies, ensuring active participation of all team members at all levels, and achieving and maintaining ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 certification.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a related field, 5+ years of SHE & Quality experience, and extensive knowledge of SHE Regulations and Legislation. They will also have experience in manufacturing, startup plant experience, and subject area knowledge of Management Systems, such as ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001. Additionally, they will have good understanding and practice in using problem-solving tools, such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, and DMAIC, and auditing experience is desirable.
The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and PHA's, ensuring implementation of identified corrective actions, coordinating and managing all contractors that need to attend site to conduct activities, and providing direction and coordination for all quality activities that have an effect on product or service quality.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader and motivator, with excellent analytical skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for SHE and a clear vision/understanding of World Class.
