Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, Environment Manager to join our team at Intertape Polymer Group (IPG). As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and PHA's to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 certification standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors to address safety, health, and environmental concerns.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and assess performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team to achieve World Class SHEQ standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management.
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and legislation.
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in a startup plant environment.
- Subject area knowledge of management systems, including ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
