Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at BYK Additives Ltd. (UK). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards and risks in the workplace, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Provide Training and Support: Deliver training programs and provide guidance to employees on health and safety procedures, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with management, employees, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and cooperation on health and safety matters.
- Monitor and Report: Track and report on health and safety performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Qualifications: A recognized health and safety certification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, and a degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field).
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
