Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health, Environment Manager to join our team at Intertape Polymer Group (IPG). As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and PHA's to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 certification standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors to address safety, health, and environmental concerns.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and assess performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members on safety, health, and environmental matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and legislation.
  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably in a startup plant environment.
  • Subject area knowledge of management systems, including ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
