Exciting Opportunity for a Customer Care Coordinator

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Customer Care Coordinator within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings for patient discharges and transfers, often under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Coordinate regular transport for patients requiring renal and oncology services.
  • Engage with service users 24-48 hours before travel to confirm arrangements.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including road staff and medical personnel, to ensure seamless transport for all service users.
  • Maintain awareness of safeguarding practices and apply knowledge to support service users and colleagues.
  • Act as the primary contact for service users regarding inquiries about patient transport.
  • Complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Facilitate the transfer or referral of callers to appropriate resources when direct assistance is not possible.
  • Stay informed about updates in policies and procedures.
  • Participate in required training sessions.
  • Support and mentor less experienced staff when needed.
  • Perform additional duties related to this role as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with strong numeracy and IT skills.
  • Experience in customer service, ideally in a call center or phone-based environment.
  • Exceptional listening abilities.
  • Capability to produce clear and detailed reports of incidents.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Respect for confidentiality and adeptness in handling sensitive matters.
