About the Role
At Tesco, we're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our stores operate smoothly. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a vital role in achieving these goals by leading and supporting your team members.
Your Responsibilities- Customer Focus: You'll be the go-to person for customers, addressing their needs and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
- Team Leadership: You'll guide and motivate your colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: You'll oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflows, product availability, and a clean and organized store environment.
- Performance Improvement: You'll actively seek ways to enhance service standards and contribute to the overall success of the store.
We offer a competitive hourly rate starting from £14.28, increasing to £15.41 for stores within the M25. An additional night premium of £2.30 per hour is also provided for hours worked between midnight and 6am.
We are committed to providing our colleagues with a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, but we are flexible and happy to discuss alternative arrangements based on your availability.
