Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be tasked with preparing suitability reports and providing comprehensive technical research services across a diverse array of financial products and planning opportunities for a team of Financial Planners. A solid understanding of client needs and desired outcomes is essential.

Your specific duties will include:

Crafting suitability reports encompassing a wide variety of advice types, financial products, and investment strategies Conducting necessary technical research Ensuring client records contain adequate Know Your Client information to validate the suitability of our advice, maintaining accuracy and currency at all times Collaborating with Financial Planners to ensure optimal client outcomes Participating in client meetings to assist Financial Planners with cashflow modeling as needed Managing your workload to meet personal performance targets Effectively communicating with Financial Planners to manage expected delivery timelines Overseeing processes, tasks, and adherence to FCA guidelines Maintaining core systems to ensure all documents are uploaded to the back-office system to support the advisory process Identifying and reporting any risks, breaches, or errors, ensuring risks are logged with appropriate mitigating actions and controls

Qualifications Required:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

A minimum of CISI Diploma Level 4 qualification or equivalent Proven experience in paraplanning with a solid technical foundation A successful history of delivering written financial advice Strong organizational and prioritization skills; capable of working independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Effective stakeholder management with strong influencing skills Essential literacy, numerical, and analytical skills
