Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing suitability reports and providing comprehensive technical research services across a diverse array of financial products and planning opportunities for a team of Financial Planners. A solid understanding of client needs and desired outcomes is essential.

  • Develop suitability reports covering various advice types, financial products, and investment solutions.
  • Conduct necessary technical research to support financial planning.
  • Ensure client records are maintained with adequate Know Your Client information to validate the suitability of our advice.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Attend client meetings to assist Financial Planners with cash flow modeling as needed.
  • Manage your workload effectively to meet personal performance targets.
  • Communicate proactively with Financial Planners regarding expected delivery timelines.
  • Oversee processes and tasks while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain core systems, ensuring all documents are uploaded to the back-office system to support advice delivery.
  • Identify and report any risks, breaches, or errors, ensuring risks are logged with appropriate mitigating actions and controls.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of CISI Diploma Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in paraplanning with a strong technical foundation.
  • A track record of delivering written financial advice effectively.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient stakeholder management and positive influencing skills.
  • Essential literacy, numerical, and analytical skills.
