Domestic Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Advocate to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse in Sandwell, Dudley, and Walsall.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse. You will carry a caseload, including risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes, and case review.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse, including one-to-one and group work settings
- Carry a caseload, including risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes, and case review
- Work within a multi-agency framework, including the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse
- Collaborate with other services within BCWA and key agencies to assess risk and provide tailored support plans for service users
- Experience of working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse in one-to-one and group work settings
- Ability to carry a caseload and work within a multi-agency framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
